About:

Wendy grew up in the semi-arid desert in the interior of British Columbia. She loved so many things about this gentle life, but every winter, when the frigid, dark winter would come, she dreamed of far off lands. Tropical lands.
Exotic lands.
After two trips to Hawaii in her highschool years, this desire for adventure led her back to the islands.
She lived on and off in Hawaii and California for 21 years and came back to Canada in 2013 to raise her daughter closer to family.
Her new memoir 'Not Without My Girl' details that journey deeply.
When not writing or daydreaming, Wendy is a high school teacher for an online school and also loves exploring the beautiful natural environment of British Columbia.
Wendy has a passion for helping other mamas of autistic children to find acceptance in their new journey and start dreaming again.
